DeepYield LLC ("DeepYield," "we," "us") operates deepyield.com and go.deepyield.com. This policy explains what information we collect through these websites, our online scheduling, our website chat, and our marketing emails; how we use and share it; and the choices you have. Clients who engage us receive additional information about how we handle their information as part of their engagement. Tax return information is also protected by Internal Revenue Code §7216, as described under "Tax return information" below. ## Information we collect - **Information you give us.** When you fill out a form or chat with us (for example, to request a free two-year look-back, introduce a client, or use our look-back screener), we collect what you enter: typically your name, email address, phone number, state, how you describe your situation, a general income or revenue range if you choose to share one, and any notes you add. A partner introducing a client may also give us that client's name and email. Please do not put Social Security numbers, account numbers, or tax returns in our forms or chat. - **Scheduling information.** If you book a call through Calendly, Calendly collects your name, email, the time you choose, and any answers you give on the booking form, and shares them with us. We may copy these booking details into our customer relationship management (CRM) system. - **Information collected automatically.** When you visit our sites, our analytics and marketing tools collect device and usage information such as IP address, browser type, pages viewed, referring page, campaign parameters (UTM tags), and the date and time of your visit. This is collected through cookies and similar technologies described below. When you receive our marketing emails, we also learn whether you opened them and which links you clicked, through small images and tracked links in the emails. - **Information from other sources.** We get business contact information (such as name, business name, business email, phone number, location, and industry) from commercial data providers and purchased business contact lists, from public sources such as public agricultural, land, and government records, and from referral partners who introduce you. Our CRM's data-enrichment feature may also add company or professional details to a contact record. We may use this information to send you information about our services by email or mail. - **Sensitive information.** We do not ask for, and we do not sell, sensitive information such as health information, racial or ethnic origin, religious beliefs, sexuality, citizenship or immigration status, genetic or biometric data, or precise geolocation. ## Cookies and similar technologies - **HubSpot.** We use HubSpot (HubSpot, Inc.) for our forms, contact records, chat, marketing email, and website analytics. The HubSpot tracking code sets cookies such as `__hstc`, `hubspotutk`, `__hssc`, and `__hssrc` to recognize returning visitors, connect form submissions to visits, and measure page views. HubSpot may show a cookie notice and remember your choice with a cookie, and its form-collection feature may record what you submit in forms on our pages. HubSpot forms also use Google reCAPTCHA to block spam. - **Google.** Our main website, deepyield.com, uses a Google tag to measure site traffic with Google Analytics. Google may set cookies such as `_ga` and `_ga_*`. We may also use Google tags, including Google Analytics and Google Ads conversion tracking, on other pages, including go.deepyield.com, to measure site traffic and whether our ads lead to inquiries; Google Ads conversion tracking may set Google cookies such as `_gcl_aw`. If we do and you arrived from a Google ad, we may tell Google, using only the ad-click identifier and never your name, email, phone number, or any tax information, that the click led to a request or a booked call, so we can measure our ads. We also load Google Fonts and, on our contact page, an embedded Google Map. - **DeepYield landing pages (go.deepyield.com).** Our landing pages keep the campaign parameters you arrived with (UTM tags) and, if present, the Google ad-click ID in your browser's session storage for the length of your visit, so the form and scheduling link record how you found us. If you arrive from a Google ad link that includes a Google click ID, the page also stores that click ID in a first-party cookie, `dy_gclid`, for 90 days (it keeps the first click ID and does not overwrite it), so a later request can be matched to that ad click. We do not put your name, email, phone number, or any tax information in links or campaign parameters. - **Calendly.** When you open or use our Calendly scheduling page, Calendly may set its own cookies under its own privacy policy. - **Reviews widget.** Some pages load a reviews widget from Trustindex, which may set its own cookies. - **Website chat.** If a page offers a chat window, it is provided through HubSpot. The chat may be answered by an automated (AI) assistant rather than a person until you ask for a person. We keep chat transcripts in our CRM to respond to you and to improve the chat. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics with Google's browser add-on (tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout). Blocking cookies may stop some forms or scheduling features from working. Our sites do not currently respond to "Do Not Track" or Global Privacy Control browser signals. The third parties named above (Google, HubSpot, Calendly, and Trustindex) may collect information about your online activities over time and across different websites when you use our sites. ## How we use information - To respond to your request, schedule and hold your free look-back, and follow up with you by email or phone about it - To decide, with you, whether an engagement makes sense, and to prepare a written proposal - To work with partners who introduced you, as you allow (for example, telling the partner whether we connected with you) - To send you emails about our services, tax education, and events; you can opt out at any time - To understand how our websites are used and to improve them and our marketing, including measuring our ads - To keep our sites and forms secure and to prevent spam and fraud - To comply with law and professional obligations ## How we share information **We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not sell or rent your email address.** We share information only: - **With service providers** who process it for us, including HubSpot (forms, CRM, chat, email, analytics), Google (analytics, ad measurement, reCAPTCHA, fonts, maps), Calendly (scheduling), Microsoft (video calls and email), Slack (internal notifications), Trustindex (reviews), our payment processor, our website host, and other technology providers we use in our work, including AI tools. They may use it only to provide services to us. - **Through a CRM account shared with an affiliated company.** DeepYield is under common ownership with Farmer Law PC. DeepYield uses a HubSpot account that it shares with Farmer Law PC, so people who work for Farmer Law PC may be able to see contact records that DeepYield keeps in that account. We do not provide your information to Farmer Law PC for its own marketing, and we do not share tax return information with Farmer Law PC except as permitted by law or with your separate written consent. - **With professionals working on your matter,** such as your CPA or a partner who introduced you, when you ask us to or agree. - **When required by law,** to respond to lawful requests, or to protect the rights, safety, and property of DeepYield, our clients, or others. - **In a business transfer,** if DeepYield is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this policy. ## Tax return information DeepYield prepares and files tax returns for clients who choose that service; clients are not required to use us for return preparation. Information you give us for, or in connection with, preparing or reviewing a tax return (including the returns and documents you share for a look-back review) is "tax return information" under Internal Revenue Code §7216. We use and disclose tax return information only as permitted by law or with your separate written consent. We do not use tax return information for marketing, and we do not share it with advertising platforms. You never have to give consent to use or disclose your tax return information in order to receive our services. ## Text messages and calls We do not send text messages to market our services, and we do not make autodialed or prerecorded marketing calls. If you ask us to contact you, we may call or email you about your request. ## How long we keep information We keep form and contact information for as long as needed to respond to you and for our legitimate business records, generally up to three years after our last contact with you if you do not become a client. We keep a record of opt-out requests so that we can honor them. Client records are kept as required by our engagement agreements, professional rules, and law. Analytics data is kept according to the retention settings of the tools described above. ## Security We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards for the information we hold. No website or email transmission is completely secure, so please do not send tax returns or Social Security numbers through our website forms, chat, or ordinary email. Ask us how to share documents securely. ## Your choices and rights - **Marketing email.** You can unsubscribe from our marketing emails at any time with the link in any marketing email. We act on unsubscribe requests promptly, and always within 10 business days. - **Privacy requests.** Wherever you live, you can ask us to confirm whether we hold personal information about you, to give you access to it or a copy of it in a portable format, to correct or delete it, or to stop using it for marketing. You can also opt out of any sale of your information or its use for targeted advertising; we do neither today. We will verify your request and respond within 45 days. - **Appeals.** If we decline a request, you can appeal by replying to our decision or emailing [info@deepyield.com](mailto:info@deepyield.com) with "Privacy appeal" in the subject line. We will answer in writing within 60 days. - Some state laws give their residents specific privacy rights. Where such a law applies to us, we will honor those rights as it requires. ## Children Our websites are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. ## Changes to this policy We may update this policy. We will post the updated version here with a new effective date.
